Pave Setting
Yellow Diamond or Blue Sapphire Ring?
My husband is buying me a new ring for our anniversary. And I’m split on which I like best. A 3.5 carat asscher cut yellow diamond solitaire with white diamond accents channel set in the band, or a 2.75 carat cushion cut sapphire in a pave setting with white diamond accents.
Which do you like best?
The sapphire may be treated so I rule that one out. The yellow diamond, if natural and not treated is a fine choice. Not because it is bigger, but because they are so beautiful when they are a good cut and clarity. Sapphires are more sedate and excuse the term, boring. I have a 1.75 ct. natural yellow diamond and I get compliments on it all the time.
Congratulations on your anniversary. Many happy years to you!
